What are in-kind donations?

When individuals and organizations donate goods or services, those donations are considered gifts-in-kind. Beak n Wings accepts in-kind gifts like cages, fresh fruits and vegetables, bird food, toys, perches, large bird cages, and more.

Additionally, in some cases, individuals and corporations donate toys, perches and food items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, bird food and other tasty treats for the parrots, such as nuts in the shell.

All in gifts-in-kind are tax deductible as law permits and we have become experts in creativity and enjoy working with corporations and individuals who want to donate any of these types of items.
