Volunteer Adventures

 

Cage Cleaning Extravaganza:

• Our outdoor enthusiasts, who have transformed their homes into delightful bird B&Bs, need some extra hands to spruce up those feathered suites.

Transport:

We have two types of bird chauffeur roles waiting for you!

• Vet Visits:

  • When Polly needs a check-up, you'll be the designated driver. No emergencies here—just a quick trip to the vet and back to their cozy foster home.

• You can also transport feathered friends to events! You'll pick them up, showcase them, and return them to their comfy nests.

Grooming Gurus:

• Discover the art of bird grooming or assist in the process. We host grooming as needed during open hours and occasionally make house calls for grooming.

Fundraising Aficionados:

• Help us raise funds! Gather donations, place collection tubs in local businesses, and work your magic.

Follow-up Friends:

• Learn the ins and outs of checking in on adopted birds to ensure they're thriving in their new homes.

Events Enthusiasts:

• Join us for 200 hours of engaging public events, such as going to schools, pet stores, annual ride, parades, and more. Assist with bird handling, public interactions, and event setup and takedown.

Home Study Companions:

• Accompany us during home studies for bird adoptions. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn and provide friendly support.
